By purchasing supplies and parts only from your authorized Toshiba dealer/distributor, you can prevent potential problems such as poor copy quality (dirty copies), increased service costs and down time due to inferior parts/supplies, to name just a couple. Are Toshiba supplies environmentally friendly?
Toshiba always has the environment in mind, and is striving for environmentally correct products, and programs. Most Toshiba copiers use organic photoconductors, which are non-toxic and biodegradeable. Some of our copiers use other material photoconductors such as selenium, in which we have a recycling program for used drums. Your authorized Toshiba dealer will take back the selenium drums and will send them in for recycling.

All of our toner and developer containers are now a black color, denoting a plastic composition of at least 25% recycled plastics. Additionally, in January '96 a toner container recycling program is being announced by Toshiba in which you can easily return specific empty toner containers at no cost*, for recycling.

You can also contribute to a better environment by choosing your copier paper wisely. Recycled paper is a good choice, however we recommend you contact your authorized Toshiba dealer for their recommendations of the best paper to use, as some papers, both new and recycled, can affect wear and tear on any copier.
